hey
(Luke 21:28) Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” (*NKJV)

Few Facts:
- 5 main places to get “End Times” information.
- 1 out of every 30 verses in the Bible.
- 23 of 27 New Testament Books.
I’m not looking to scare you, I’m wanting to prepare you.

(John 14:1-3) “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in Me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?”3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”

(Matthew 24:3-8) As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?” (4) Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. (5) For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. (6) You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. (7) Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. (8) All these are the beginning of birth pains.”

(Matthew 24:14) “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
Two “unique qualities” of Our Time:

1) Gospel is Spreading

1970: 1.2 BILLION Christians.
2020: 2.6 BILLION Christians.
2) Worldwide Satellite Technology

(2 Peter 3:3-10) First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ He promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.”
Two Signs the End is Near

1) People will forget God.

(Matthew 24:9-13) “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

(Timothy 3:1-5) But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self- control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God - having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

2) People will not be ready.

(Matthew 24:40-42) “Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.”

(1 Thessalonians 5:2) For you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

(Matthew 24:36) “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.”
You don’t need to know how much time is left,
you need to know what to do with the time you got left.

(1 Peter 4:7) “The end of all things is near therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray.”
Four Things I Should Be Doing:

1. I should think clearly.

(Philippians 3:18-21) “For I have told you often before, and I say it again with tears in my eyes, that there are many whose conduct shows they are really enemies of the cross of Christ. 19 They are headed for destruction. Their god is their appetite, they brag about shameful things, and they think only about this life here on earth. 20 But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. 21 He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like His own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control
2. I should focus on my relationships.

(1 Peter 4:8-9) “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.”
3. I should use my gifts.

(1 Peter 4:10-11) - “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.
4. I should receive God’s grace.

(2 Peter 3:11-18) “Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. 13 But in keeping with His promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. 14 So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with Him. 15 Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation 17 Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position 18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

(Isaiah 55:6-7) Seek the LORD while He may be found; call on Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD, and He will have mercy on him, and to our God, for He will freely pardon.
