We were created for dependence on God and interdependence with one another. Therefore we receive from God, we give to others, and we ask for help. That is the gospel circle of life.

When we are unwilling to ask and/or receive help:
1. We cut ourselves off from help.
A. We may struggle with secret sin and live in guilt, shame, and
fear of getting caught.
B. We may struggle much more than we need to with everyday
living thereby consuming our time, energy, and even faith.
2. We withhold from others blessings of sharing/helping.
3. We withhold the gospel from the world.
