What Does Jesus Mean By "I Am the Gate"?
Salvation: Jesus as "the gate" means that He is the means by which people can access salvation and eternal life. He is the only way to God, and through Him, people can be reconciled with God and receive forgiveness of sins.
Protection: In the analogy, Jesus portrays Himself as the gate for the sheep. Sheep enter and exit through the gate, and it serves as a means of protection. In a spiritual sense, Jesus provides protection for His followers, guarding them from spiritual harm and danger.
Abundant Life: Jesus contrasts Himself with thieves and robbers who come to steal, kill, and destroy. He emphasizes that He has come to give abundant life. Through Him, believers can experience a rich and meaningful life filled with purpose, peace, and a close relationship with God.
On-going Access to God: Jesus is the way to a relationship with God the Father. He serves as the entrance point through which believers can come to God, experience His love and grace, and receive the blessings of the Kingdom of God.

Abundance isn’t found in what we have but in being content with what we have. Contentment is found is trusting the Lord’s provision and loving Him rather than loving money.
