Being men of our word (integrity) who are called to the service of Eldership at Clinton Grace Church, we personally commit to the following pledges:

1. I commit to live worthy of the gospel in my private, family, and public life, setting an example in speech, conduct, love, faith, purity, and holiness to all in and outside of this church.

2. I commit to walking close with Christ: abiding, following and daily surrendering to Him and through mutual accountability encourage my fellow elders to do the same.

3. I commit to always pursue humility before God, my fellow elders, and the whole congregation by striving for unity, inviting input, counting others more significant than myself, by asking forgiveness and granting forgiveness when necessary.

4. I commit to devote myself to earnestly pray for the members and ministry of this church body and to be alert to guard against false teachers and teachings.

5. I commit that I will labor to equip the saints for the work of ministry, and seek to entrust the gospel message to faithful believers who will be able to teach others also.

6. I commit, alongside my fellow elders, to love, lead and shepherd this flock with compassion and integrity, as ones who will give an account before God.

7. I commit to teach, exhort, and challenge others through the Word of God, depending on the Holy Spirit only to transform lives.

8. I commit to faithful and wise stewardship of the church’s resources to the best of my ability, seeking God’s will for our church based on the study of the Scriptures and leading of the Holy Spirit.

9. I commit to support the ministry of Clinton Grace Church through financial giving and to faithful attendance at worship services as well as elder leadership meetings and training.

10. I commit by to lovingly exercise biblical church discipline, when necessary, for the glory of God, the good of the one disciplined and the health of the church as a whole.
