Introduction

Daniel 7:13-14
"I was watching in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him. Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed.

Daniel 7:27
Then the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.'

Genesis 1:26-28
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Matthew 4:23
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.

Tony Evans: Kingdom of God is the comprehensive rule of God over all creation.

It is truly having a default understanding that God, in all of His creative exclusivity, ultimate rulership authority, and universal sustainability, is the only one with the capacity to own all the created order. He is the boss.

Luke 4:5-6
Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to Him, "All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.

In the beginning, God put Man on the Earth to rule over it and everything on it as a representative of Himself and for man to use his gifts, talents, and abilities to Glorify God with them through the establishment of culture.

We must understand that the purpose of the cross was not only to reconcile man back to God, but also to legally bring the jurisdiction of the planet back under the reign of mankind through Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

What did dominion look like for Adam and Eve?
Is there a difference between dominion and stewardship?
Is the command to Adam and Eve for us also?

When did Satan get authority?
Who delivered it to him?
Who stripped Satan of His authority?

Where has God placed you to take dominion? What talents, gifts, abilities, and influence has he given you stewardship over?
