Parkerville Baptist Church
Romans 12:9-16 part 4
This Sunday Anthony will be bringing us the latest message in our Romans sermon series. All welcome! Anthony says: "If you type in the phrase "A Passion for..." into “Book depository.com”, which is an online bookstore, you will get around 1500+ books with that title. Hundreds of books with the title “A Passion for…”. A Passion for Birds, A Passion for Pasta, A Passion for Cactus, A Passion for Chocolate (that’s understandable), A Passion for Potatoes, Fashion, Patchwork, Fishing, Flying, Gardening, Golf and Pigeons – it just goes on and on. There’s even a book called “A Passion for Passion" (but we will stay away from that one). What are you passionate about? This week, we see that we are called never to be lacking passion when it comes to serving and following Jesus. How passionate do you feel when it comes to Jesus? Do you feel like you are going through the motions? (We have all been there.) There are things we can do that are passion givers or passion killers when it comes to following Jesus – come along Sunday and find out what they are."

"Grit is having stamina. Grit is sticking with your future, day in, day out, not just for the week, not just for the month, but for years, and working really hard to make that future a reality. Grit is living life like it's a marathon, not a sprint."
