Holy Water
God, I'm on my knees again
God, I'm begging please again
I need you
Oh, I need you
Walking down these desert roads
Water for my thirsty soul
I need you
Oh, I need you

Your forgiveness
Is like sweet, sweet honey on my lips
Like the sound of a symphony to my ears
Like Holy water on my skin

Dead man walking, slave to sin
I wanna know about being born again
I need you
Oh, God, I need you
So, take me to the riverside
Take me under, baptize
I need you
Oh, God I need you

Your forgiveness
Is like sweet, sweet honey on my lips
Like the sound of a symphony to my ears
Like holy water on my skin

I don't wanna abuse your grace
God, I need it every day
It's the only thing that ever really makes me wanna change
I don't wanna abuse your grace
God, I need it every day
It's the only thing that ever really makes me wanna change
I don't wanna abuse your grace
God, I need it every day
It's the only thing that ever really makes me wanna change
I don't wanna abuse your grace
God, I need it every day
It's the only thing that ever really makes me wanna change

Your forgiveness
Is like sweet, sweet honey on my lips
Like the sound of a symphony to my ears
It's like holy water

Your forgiveness
Is like sweet, sweet honey on my lips
Like the sound of a symphony on my ears
It's like holy water on my skin

My Testimony
I saw satan fall like lightning
I saw darkness run for cover
But the miracle that I just can't get over
My name is registered in heaven

I believe in signs and wonders
I have resurrection power
Still the miracle that I just can't get over
My name is registered in heaven
My praise belongs to you forever

This is my testimony from death to life
Cause grace rewrote my story, I'll testify
By Jesus Christ the Righteous
I'm justified
This is my testimony
This is my testimony

Come together sons and daughters
Bought with blood
And washed in water
Sing the praises of the Spirit
Son and Father
Our God will finish what He started
Our God will finish what He started

This is my testimony from death to life
Cause grace rewrote my story, I'll testify
By Jesus Christ the Righteous
I'm justified
This is my testimony
This is my testimony

If I'm not dead, You're not done
Greater things are still to come
Oh I believe
If I'm not dead, You're not done
Greater things are still to come
Oh I believe
If I'm not dead, You're not done
Greater things are still to come
Oh I believe
If I'm not dead, You're not done
Greater things are still to come
Oh I believe

This is my testimony from death to life
Cause grace rewrote my story, I'll testify
By Jesus Christ the Righteous
I'm justified
This is my testimony
This is my testimony

This is my testimony from death to life
Cause grace rewrote my story, I'll testify
By Jesus Christ the Righteous

What A Beautiful Name
You were the Word at the beginning
One with God the Lord Most High
Your hidden glory in creation
Now revealed in You our Christ

What a beautiful Name it is
What a beautiful Name it is
The Name of Jesus Christ my King
What a beautiful Name it is
Nothing compares to this
What a beautiful Name it is
The Name of Jesus

You didn't want Heaven without us
So Jesus, You brought heaven down
My sin was great, Your love was greater
What could separate us now

What a wonderful Name it is
What a wonderful Name it is
The Name of Jesus Christ my King
What a wonderful Name it is
Nothing compares to this
What a wonderful Name it is
The Name of Jesus
What a wonderful Name it is
The Name of Jesus

Death could not hold You, the veil tore before You
You silenced the boast of sin and grave
The heavens are roaring the praise of Your glory
For You are raised to life again

You have no rival, You have no equal
Now and forever, God, You reign
Yours is the Kingdom, Yours is the glory
Yours is the Name above all names

What a powerful Name it is
What a powerful Name it is
The Name of Jesus Christ my King
What a powerful Name it is
Nothing can stand against
What a powerful Name it is
The Name of Jesus

You have no rival, You have no equal
Now and forever, God, You reign
Yours is the Kingdom, Yours is the glory
Yours is the Name above all names

What a powerful Name it is

WHY IS IT CALLED A "CHURCH FAMILY"?
Various Scripture
Ephesians 2:18-19 (CEV)
And because of Christ, all of us can come to the Father by the same Spirit. You Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens with everyone else who belongs to the family of God.
What Does GOD Say about HIS FAMILY?
Hebrews 10:24 (AMP)
“And let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities…”
Romans 12:10 (GW)
“Be devoted to each other like a loving family. Excel in showing respect for each other.”
Galatians 6:10 (NLT2)
“Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.”
How is a “Church Family” like a “Nuclear Family”?
1 Timothy 5:1-2 (NLT2)
“Never speak harshly to an older man, but appeal to him respectfully as you would to your own father. Talk to younger men as you would to your own brothers. Treat older women as you would your mother, and treat younger women with all purity as you would your own sisters.”
Matthew 12:49-50 (ESV)
“And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”
Galatians 3:28-29 (MSG)
“In Christ's family there can be no division into Jew and non-Jew, slave and free, male and female. Among us you are all equal. That is, we are all in a common relationship with Jesus Christ. Also, since you are Christ's family, then you are Abraham's famous "descendant," heirs according to the covenant promises.”

OUR “RIVER-FAMILY” CREST

What Can I do When our Church Feels Like a “Dysfunctional Family”?
Colossians 3:13 (NLT2)
“Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.”
Ephesians 4:15-16 (GW)
“As we lovingly speak the truth, we will grow up completely in our relationship to Christ… He makes the whole body fit together…so that it builds itself up in love.”
1 Thessalonians 5:11 (MSG)
“So speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you'll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind. I know you're already doing this; just keep on doing it.To create a healthy church family, believers are to encourage each other, build each other up and not tear each other down, and be there for each other, just as a family should be. Scripture gives helpful direction on how to treat fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.”
2 Corinthians 13:11 (NLT2)
“Dear brothers and sisters, I close my letter with these last words: Be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you.”
What Can I Do To Help My Church Feel Like FAMILY?
John 13:34-35 (TLB)
“And so I am giving a new commandment to you now—love each other just as much as I love you. Your strong love for each other will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”
Hebrews 10:24 (AMP)
“And let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities…”
Acts 2:46-47 (NASB)
“Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.”
Victory in Jesus
I heard an old, old story
How a Savior came from glory
How He gave His life on Calvary
To save a wretch like me
I heard about His groaning
Of His precious blood's atoning
Then I repented of my sins
And won the victory, yeah

Oh, victory in Jesus, my Savior forever
He sought me and bought me with His redeeming blood
He loved me 'ere I knew Him and all my love is due Him
He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood

I heard about His healing
Of His cleansing power revealing
How He made the lame to walk again
And caused the blind to see
And then I cried, "Dear Jesus, come and heal my broken spirit"
And somehow Jesus came and brought to me the victory

Victory in Jesus, my Savior forever
He sought me, and He bought me with His redeeming blood
He loved me 'ere I knew Him and all my love is due Him
He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood.

I heard about a mansion
He has built for me in glory.
And I heard about the streets of gold
Beyond the crystal sea;
About the angels singing,
And the old redemption story,
And some sweet day I'll sing up there
The song of victory.

Victory in Jesus, my Savior forever
He sought me, and He bought me with His redeeming blood
He loved me 'ere I knew Him and all my love is due Him
He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood.

Victory in Jesus, my Savior forever
He sought me, and He bought me with His redeeming blood
He loved me 'ere I knew Him and all my love is due Him
He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood.

Campus Work Day

Saturday, November 11 | 8am-12pm We’re sprucin’ things up with a Campus Work Day and we want you to be there. Let's come and serve the Lord together as one in a body-wide expression of gratitude for these grounds and this facility that He has given to us. We want to be good stewards of His property by keeping things clean, organized, weeded, pruned, painted, repaired, etc. There will be ways of serving that are appropriate for every age (for their safety, children must remain with parents). Bring the whole family and let's join together for a time of work and fellowship. For more information, please contact Gary Weiss, Facilities Manager at gweiss@riverbluff.org or 843.266.6328.

Operation Christmas Child

It's that time of year again!  We’re encouraging all of our River-family to fill a shoe box for Operation Christmas Child. If you aren’t able to fill one by yourself, join with your small group, friends, or neighbors! For your convenience, there is an option to Build a Shoebox Online! Also consider making a financial contribution to cover shipping costs ($10.00 per box), as well as expenses for the processing center and the Gospel literature for box recipients. Checks should be made out to Riverbluff Church or give online (choose “Other” and indicate Operation Christmas Child). Bring your completed shoeboxes to Riverbluff through November 12. For instructions and ideas on packing your shoe box, visit www.samaritanspurse.org/occ. For more information, contact Kevin or Judy Kugler

Exploring Church Membership Seminar (ECM)

Sunday, November 12 |  4:00pm | Room 102/105 Have you been hanging around Riverbluff for a while? What are your next steps? We’ve found our Exploring Church Membership (ECM) seminar to be the best plan for stepping into membership at Riverbluff. ECM gives you an overview of our strategy, goals, values and vision. During our time together, we will share what we're trying to be and do as a church. You’ll get to personally meet our Pastors and ask them any questions that might be on your heart. At the end of our time together, we will offer you the opportunity to commit to membership, but there will be no pressure! We promise! Childcare will be available with sign-up.

COMFORT ZONE

HVAC Replacement Project The Elders announce that Riverbluff Church will begin a capital campaign to raise the funds necessary for replacement of one of our aging HVAC systems. The original systems were installed in 2002, during the construction of our campus. Most of the equipment is at or far beyond its expected life. The increasing costs to maintain the current system, its reduced efficiency, and the risk that parts or accessories required for repair may no longer be available, have led us to conclude that we are in need of a replacement system. As this project will be quite expensive, we have started this capital campaign, called “Comfort Zone”, to raise the $50,000 needed to ensure we can enjoy reliable, energy-efficient comfort, no matter the weather, for many years into the future! The Comfort Zone campaign will run through November 2023. Special giving envelopes can be found throughout the building or give online.
