At the Throne of Grace, what should you ask for? We need to develop our prayer life and become precise with our prayer requests.

The Lord is our sun and shield. What is one of the things the sun does? It gives light. God gives us light. Many of manifestations of the Glory of God are associated with light. We need the light of God in our lives.

The Ephesians 1 Prayer
Father,
I pray that you, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you. I pray that the eyes of my understanding are enlightened; that I may know what is the hope of your calling, and what are the riches of the glory of you inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of your power to us who believe, according to the working of your mighty power, which you wrought in Christ, when you raised Him from the dead, and set Him at your own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. You have put all things under His feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of him that fills all in all. Father, I thank you that when you seated Jesus at your right hand you have also seated me. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Take heed - beware, look, listen, pay attention - look this direction, turn your mind this direction
1st watch - stay awake, stay ready, stay alert
verse 34, 35, 37 "watch" - to take heed lest through slackening of attention, lack of attention, avoidance of activity, and laziness some destructive calamity suddenly overtake one
This word for watch should remind us of the ancient watchmen or lookouts. These were guards who kept watch over the city. It was their job to look out for surprise attacks and impending dangers.
In order to do this job, they had to climb up a high wall or a high watch tower.
In order to watch, you must come up to a higher place. Watchers were known for the key sense of sight and hearing. In 2024, you're going to come into a place of clarity that is far greater than anything you've known before.
