Do nothing out of...
- Selfish ambition
- Conceit
- Instead, in humility consider others more important than yourself
- Look not to your own interests, but to others

- Look not to your own interests, but to others
- Adopt the attitude of Christ
- Existed in the form of God, did not consider equity of God as something to be exploited (grasped)
- Emptied himself
- Assuming the form of a servant
- Taking on the likeness of humanity
- Humbled himself
- Becoming obedient to the point of death - even death on a cross

Because of v.5-8, God highly exalted Christ - we live for the exalted Christ
- Gave him the name above every name
- At the name of Jesus... our Lord... the one we lean fully into
- Every knee will bow
- Every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord
- We serve the Lord of Lords and King of Kings and he knows you
- Why all this?
- For the glory of God the Father
