ANALYSIS/APPLICATION: Stepping into More
1. Love Him more than anything else.
Matthew 22:36-38 - 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
2. Ask Him More.
Matthew 21:22 - And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”
Matthew 7:7-8 - “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.
John 15:7 - If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
John 14:13-14 - Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.
John 16:24 - Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
a. Ask him to change your heart.
b. Ask for the continual baptism of the holy spirit.
c. Ask for faith to believe and do.
3. Keep the flame burning when God does more.
2 Timothy 1:6-8 - 6 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline.
