The Vine Church- Give
Giving gives us an opportunity to recognize that God is the Giver of every good and perfect Gift! It also allows us to fund the mission and vision of the church. Every life that is transformed by the power of Jesus Christ through The Vine is a result of your generosity. Thanks for being cheerful and generous givers!
https://app.securegive.com/TheVineTeaching Notes:
Jesus is fully man and fully God.
It is easier to walk away from Christ than it is to follow Christ.
Disciples come to know. Apostles are called to go.
There is no sin so dark that it cannot be brought into the light.
Reflection Questions:
1. What is the reputation held by those outside the Church of Christians? What would it take for non-Christians to see Christians as people living lives of love?
2. What is the significance of Jesus being fully man and fully God? How does this allow you to connect to Christ in a personal way?
3. Why is it important to recognize that it’s easier to walk away from Christ than it is to follow Christ? Have you experienced people making that choice? How did that impact you?
4. How can we avoid the instinct to try and hide our sin in the dark? How can we be quicker to bring it into the light?
5. What would happen if Christians spent more time confessing what they got wrong instead of worrying what other people have gotten wrong? How do we move in that direction?
