4 principles of Loads and Burdens

1. I am going to carry my OWN LOAD

Joshua had his Load: Fighting the army of Amalek
Moses had his Load: Praying at the top of the hill

Joshua couldn’t do both jobs, Moses couldn’t do both jobs
Each needed to carry out their own assignment

2. I am going to carry OTHER PEOPLES BURDENS (over their load)

Aaron and Hur notice a few things
While Moses hands and staff are lifted the Israelites are winning
But as Moses got to tired and his arms dropped the Isreal army was losing the fight

It was Moses load to carry as God’s chosen instrument
But the burden of holding his arms up that long was getting the best of him
So Aaron and Hur come over and lift up his hands, his burden

3. I will NOT carry OTHER PEOPLES LOAD

Notice that Aaron and Hur didn’t take Moses staff from him and pray.
They knew that was not their load to carry

4. I will let other PEOPLE CARRY MY BURDENS.

Moses wasn’t too proud to let Aaron and Hur carry this burden
