Shame is the feeling that comes from the belief that you are unworthy of love.
When God sees you as guilty, he sees an offense that must be covered by Jesus.
When He sees you ashamed, He sees a son or a daughter who doesn’t believe they’re a son or a daughter.
Guilt demands movement.
Shame makes you feel stuck.
