PEACE with others

Romans 12:17-18
17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
* Let Jesus take care of getting even

* Be considerate of how your words and actions affect others

* Build relationship bridges without forcing people to cross them
PEACE within ourselves

Philippians 4:6-7
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

* Could it even be possible?
"We live in the Age of Anxiety…We've become a nation of nervous wrecks."
- Robert Leah, psychologist
* Could it be that simple?

* “every situation”

* “prayer and petition”

* “with thanksgiving”
“The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith, and the beginning of true faith is the end of anxiety.”
- George Muller
John 14:27
27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
John 16:33
33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
PEACE with God

Romans 5:1
1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ…
Ephesians 2:14,16
14 For he [Jesus] himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility… 16 [reconciling] both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.
Ephesians 2:17-18
17 He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.18 For through him [Jesus] we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.
