4. Read Dt 10:17-21 and James 1:27. Why do you think so many American Christians struggle to put faith into practice by advocating for and protecting the powerless and exploited (i.e., orphans, widows, and aliens)? How do you struggle in this area?

5. Why do you think many American Christians focus more on being unstained from the world than bridling their tongue, protecting the powerless and exploited, and not playing favorites?
