Inspirational Psalms: Psalm 27

Inspirational Psalms: Psalm 27

Over the next few weeks we will be exploring some of the most inspirational Psalms in the Old Testament.  This Sunday Ray Hockley will present some insights from Psalm 27.   Ray says: "Jesus came to give us abundant life. However, many of us fail to experience this promise because we are trapped in our fears, distracted by our idols and filled with doubt and despair. David, in the midst of his own troubles, writes one of the most inspirational Psalms in the Bible. This Psalm takes the reader on a journey from fear to faith. Sunday’s message will dig out some of the wonderful gems in Psalm 27. Truths which guide us to overcoming our fears, combat our idolatry and move beyond our despair to a posture of hope."
