A Better Way | Ps. Josh Hersey (Face To Face)
(Exodus 33:11 NLT) Inside the Tent of Meeting, the Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend.

(Exodus 40:34-35 NLT) Then the cloud covered the Tabernacle, and the glory of the Lord filled the Tabernacle. 35 Moses could no longer enter the Tabernacle because the cloud had settled down over it, and the glory of the Lord filled the Tabernacle.

(Mark 15:37-38 NKJV) And Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last.38 Then the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.

(Hebrews 10:1 NLT) The old system under the law of Moses was only a shadow of the things to come, not the reality of the good things Christ has done for us. The sacrifices under that system were repeated again and again, year after year, but they were never able to provide perfect cleansing for those who came to worship.
A Better Way

(Hebrews 10:11-18 NLT) Under the old covenant, the priest stands and ministers before the altar day after day, offering the same sacrifices again and again, which can never take away sins. 12 But our High Priest offered himself to God as a single sacrifice for sins, good for all time. Then he sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand. 13 There he waits until his enemies are humbled and made a footstool under his feet. 14 For by that one offering he forever made perfect those who are being made holy. 15 And the Holy Spirit also testifies that this is so. For he says, 16 “This is the new covenant I will make with my people on that day, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.” 17 Then he says, “I will never again remember their sins and lawless deeds.” 18 And when sins have been forgiven, there is no need to offer any more sacrifices.

- New Covenant – We have complete Access

(Hebrews 4:15-16 NLT) This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. 16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
- Old Covenant – We go to the temple.
- New Covenant – We are the temple.

(1 Corinthians 6:19 NIV) Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?
- Old Covenant – Our sin is covered.
- New Covenant – Our sin is removed.

(John 1:29 NIV) The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”
