1. People that possess the faith that goes the distance SUBMIT to the RIGHT LEADER(S)—[aka Shepherd(s)/Pastors/Elders/Deacons].
First, we will submit to the ULTIMATE LEADER, the ULTIMATE SHEPHERD—JESUS.
Second, we will submit to PAST LEADERS and SAINTS the Bible points to as FAITHFUL—Moses, David, and the Hall of Faith.
Third, we will submit to PRESENT LEADERS who LIVE, LEAD, and LOVE God’s People in a manner that PLEASES and POINTS to CHRIST—Shepherds/Pastors/Elders/Deacons.
Live lives worthy of the calling of the gospel.

2. People that possess the faith that goes the distance SUBMERGE themselves in the RIGHT COMMUNITY—[aka Church, Group].
First, WHO is the RIGHT COMMUNITY/CHURCH?
Second, WHAT does the RIGHT COMMUNITY/CHURCH do?
Third, HOW does the RIGHT COMMUNITY/CHURCH do what they're called to do?
Because the generation coming out of Egypt ultimately rebelled against God, grumbled against Him and His leaders, hardened their hearts, and chose not to believe.
“We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit.”
“But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. . . . We can’t attack those people; they are stronger than we are.” (Numbers 13:28, 31).
“We should choose a leader and go back to Egypt.”
“…not one of them—20 years of age and older—will ever see the land I promised on oath to their ancestors.”
Bad shepherds are baaaaaaad for sheep!
If what’s most important to you isn’t most important to the church you’re part of, you’ll eventually cut yourself off from that church.
