Pride is an insecure attempt to qualify the self.
Boldness is a confidence which comes from a power beyond myself.
Boldness is not about being prideful; it’s about being unshakeable.

Love and compassion – “I want more people to know the love of Jesus.”
Urgency – “Everyone needs to hear this good news!”
Expectation of Renewal – “God is doing a good thing!”
Pride
Entitlement – “Only I deserve to be blessed by God.”
Bitterness and selfishness – “I want more people to be like me.”
Paranoia/Defensiveness – “No one understands me.”
Expectation of resistance – “God has abandoned these people.”
