What is Love?

What is Love?

As school begins and many of us move back into routines, one routine we hope for everyone at NPBC is to be in community with other believers. On this Sunday we'll be officially launching our Fall Grow Group season with an emphasis on the fact that genuine love can only be displayed in our love for others. We hope you'll take time to connect with others before you leave today and consider how you might engage in community in the final months of 2023!

God's Not Like That

Abundant life has nothing to do with money or prosperity or health. Abundant life has everything to do with a right view of God that sustains us, comforts us, and satisfies us through every season.

Next Week's Sermon

The apostle Paul was prolific in planting churches in areas where the Gospel was previously unheard and one such place was the island of Crete off the coast of Greece. As a hub with many harbors and great reach into the ancient world, Paul strategically launched a network of churches on Crete. The churches, however, were quickly in danger from false teachers distorting the purity and simplicity of the Gospel - salvation through Christ alone by faith alone. Paul, therefore, assigns Titus to build up these churches by appointing elders who can rebuke those swayed by this false gospel and teach truth. He spends much of the letter explaining how believers in Christ comprise a new household and even a new humanity through their faith in Christ alone. As we study Titus, we’ll see how authentic faith must inevitably make a difference in our practice of godliness. And when we fail, we have a wonderful Savior who has brought us into his house – into a new way of living – the true Good Life!
