The Great Commission

“Go into all the world and proclaim the Gospel” (Mark 16:15)

“Go into all the world and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19)

"Elder" - Presbyteros, speaks of spiritual maturity

"Overseer" - Episcopos, speaks of function

*used interchangeably
"Pastor" - Poimen, literally: "Shepherd"
"Leaders are just like everybody else, only more so."
Live in a way that doesn’t bring the “way of truth” into “disrepute” (2 Peter 2:2)

”Live such good lives among the pagans that…they may see your good deeds and glorify God” (1 Peter 1:12) — and
"Never trust a skinny chef!"
God is much more concerned with your attitude than He is with your abilities.
Live in a way that bears witness to God’s love, and strength, and grace.
