Genesis 17:1-7
A. El Shaddai - God's Part
1. He will reign as God Almighty.
2. He will transform people.
3. He will keep His promises.
B. Abram's Part
1. He must walk faithfully.
“Walk before Me faithfully.” Genesis 17:1b (NIV)

2. He must live wholeheartedly.
“…and be blameless.” Genesis 17:1c (NIV)

3. He must receive a new name.
“No longer will you be called Abram; your name will be Abraham.” Genesis 5a (NIV)

C. Our Part - God Is El Shaddai, Therefore, We Can...
1. God is El Shaddai, therefore, we can know we live as overcomers.
2. God is El Shaddai, therefore, we can know God is mighty enough to save.
3. God is El Shaddai, therefore, we can know He wants us to live in our "new" name.
Bottom Line: God loves to work in the impossible.
