We join God in His mission to bless and reach the nations.
Psalm 67 - A praise to God for His salvation to the ends of the earth.
We praise God for His grace.
We experience His Grace.
We tell of His Grace.
By sharing the Gospel with sinners.
"It may be said without fear of contradiction that the greatest hindrance to evangelism in the world today is the failure of the church to supply evidence in her own life and work of the saving power of God."

John Stott
God's salvation will result in worship from all peoples.
We praise God for His justice.
Justice begins and ends with the cross.
A day of reckoning is coming.
Jesus will be a fair judge.
God's justice will result in worship from all peoples.
We praise God for a glorious end to all things.
Picture of physical and spiritual harvest
"Now the Greek is much more forcible, it is that he would push them forward, and thrust them out; it is the same word which is used for the expulsion of a devil from a man possessed. It takes great power to drive a devil out, it will need equal power from God to drive a minister out of his work."

Charles Spurgeon
The curse placed on creation because of sin can only be redeemed through salvation.

Dig Deeper:
1. Think of all the spiritual and material blessings that you have received from God in your life. Why do you think God has blessed you?
2. How are you using the blessings of God for their intended purposes?
3. Read Psalm 67:1. Is the psalmist praying for three different things (being gracious to us, blessing us, and His face to shine upon us)? Why or why not?
4. What does it mean for God to be gracious to us? Why is God gracious? How have you specifically received God’s grace?
5. Read Psalm 67:2. What is the purpose of the blessings God gives us? What is God’s “way” that must be known on earth?
6. Define “earth” and then “nations.” Are the definitions similar or different?
7. Read Psalm 67:3-5. Define the word “let” in this passage. What other words could be used in its place?
8. How can we praise God for his justice? How does God “judge with equity” (v4)? What would be a reason why the nations are prevented praising God? What can be done to remove this hindrance?
9. Why is the phrase from verse 3 repeated in verse 5? Why is praising God is the dominant theme of this passage?
10. Read Psalm 67:6-7. What is the “increase” that the earth yields or produces?
11. God desires people from every nation, tribe, and tongue to worship Him. Why?
12. Is the blessing with which God’s people are blessed in verses 6-7 different from, similar to, or in addition to the blessings of verse 1? Explain and discuss.
13. What did you learn about prayer through this psalm?
14. Has anything from this discussion, or time in the Word, made you view God differently than you’ve have previously? If so, how?
15. How would you summarize the psalm?

Live It Out:

Join God in His mission to bless and reach the nations.

1. Praise God for His grace and justice. Use Psalm 67, and other scriptures you find, to praise God this week. Worship Him through prayer, the Word, and songs. Praise Him for His grace and justice.

2. Tell others of His Grace. We don’t keep God’s grace hidden. We proclaim it to a lost world. Where God has placed you is your mission field, and you are the missionary. This week, share with others what God is doing in your life and how you praise Him.
