When He Moves You Move Just Like That (Being Led by the Spirit of God)
Introduction:
When Pastor closed out the lesson on Grace filled Generosity, He made these statements. He said over the years we’ve been great at confession, but not as well at living; We’ve been awesome at quoting, we haven’t been well at living; He stated that our ultimate goal as a believer should be that our confession line up with our living. He said that as a born-again believer we should never be in a position where we say we believe and trust God, but we don’t trust him with our money. (He was talking about tithes & offering). But I believe that statement is true about every area of our lives. We as children of the Most High God should never be in a position to where our confession is that we believe and trust God, but our lives don’t line up with our confession. Today I want to talk to you about being led by the Spirit of God. And as you will see today while looking at the Children of Israel as an example, “We have to trust in, rely on, depend on, God to take us to our promise land. “When He moves we move, just like that.”

Our wilderness experience is necessary in order that we would have the experiences of trusting in God, and learning what it is to have faith in God. So that when we finally come into the land and face the enemies, we would have great confidence and faith in God to deliver the land into their hand.

In Conclusion:
It has never been more important to be able to discern the leading of the Spirit of God than it is today. With many voices—the voice of the world, the voice of our flesh, the voice of the enemy---competing for our attention, it is imperative that we tune in to the leading of God’s Spirit.
