Group Discussion: Who is the most forgiving person you’ve ever known?
Read aloud: Acts 2:41-47
As you read the purposes of the very first church there was excitement and joy because of the resurrection of Jesus. Do you think they had to be told to do these 4 things or was it because of spontaneous enthusiasm for what they had seen?
Go through each purpose and ask the question, “How is GateWay doing in fulfilling this purpose?” “How am I personally doing fulfilling this purpose?”

#2. Commit to what God is doing in the future. What do you look forward to being involved with in the future?
Family Time: Read Acts 2:41-47 to your kids. Talk to them about how excited everyone was on the first day the Church of Jesus Christ existed. Ask them what they most enjoy about being at GateWay Church.
