We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have
heard, so that we do not drift away. Hebrews 2:1
When we drift life loses _______________.
“Meaningless! Meaningless!” says the Teacher. “Utterly
meaningless! Everything is meaningless.” 3 What do people gain
from all their labors at which they toil under the sun? 4 Generations
come and generations go, but the earth remains forever. Ecc. 1:2-4
However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to
finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given
me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. Acts
20:24
The WOW of _____________________.
5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes
home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says,
‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ 7 I tell you that in the
same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who
repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to
repent. Luke 15:5-7
9 And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together
and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’ 10 In the
same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels
of God over one sinner who repents.” Luke 15:9-10
27 ‘Your brother has come,’ he replied, ‘and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound.’32 But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found. Luke 15:27;32
36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and
with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and
greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your
neighbor as yourself.’40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these
two commandments.” Matthew 22:36-39
The WOW of _____________________.
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship,
to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with
awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44
All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45
They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had
need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple
courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad
and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the
people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were
being saved. Acts 2:42-47
There’s a WOW _______________ for you.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who
believes in me will live, even though they die; John 11:25
