Abba is the defining term for Father in the Aramaic language, spoken by Jesus and (the Apostle) Paul as an intimate term to characterize their personal relationships with God - dictionary.com.

What beautiful imagery. God created us. He is the Artist and the Potter and He wants to mold us into His image.

Not only are we God’s children because He created us, but we are also God’s children because He has adopted us as His children and given us rights as His heirs. What a beautiful picture of God’s love for us!


God is our Spiritual Father, our Heavenly Father, and our Abba Father, our Daddy!

As we think about what it means to be a good father, it will be a man that first and foremost follows the Heavenly Father and has a close relationship with Him through Jesus.

That type of intimacy can only by found by spending time with Him daily in His Word and talking with Him in prayer.

The best way to be a good father to your children is to be a good son to your Heavenly Father by having a close relationship with Him, following Him daily, and by teaching your children how to closely follow the Father through the Son, Jesus.


The good news is we all have the best example we could ever have of a father and that is our Heavenly Father, our Abba Father, Daddy, who will never leave us or forsake us and has created us for a purpose and has fought hard for us to protect us and rescue us and to make a way for us to have a relationship with Him for eternity.
