The root of the word acceptance means to take something to oneself.

There is a price to pay for grace, but Jesus paid that price.

Knowing who the Father is establishes one’s identity (Sonship)

You may not trust yourself but you can trust the Father.

What the Word says about you:
You are an overcomer. (John 16:33; Revelation 2:7)
You are a new creature in Christ, (2 Corinthians 5:17)
You are saved by God's great grace. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
You are totally forgiven. (Ephesians 4:31-5:2)
You are the temple of the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
You are a partaker in the divine nature. (2 Peter 1:4)
You are a child of God. (Romans 8:16)
The Father loves you as much as He loves Jesus. (John 17:23)

“This is my beloved Son, who brings me great joy.”

Because of the grace of God you are accepted in the beloved.

“I am God’s beloved son and I bring Him great joy.”

Out of a place of approval and acceptance, strive to live up to how the Father already views you.
