Nurture does not have to define you.
And nature doesn't either.
And nature doesn't either.
God's work in us is to transform natural instincts into spiritual ones.
Don't be content to be who you are naturally.
Yield yourself to God so you can become who you were meant to be – supernaturally.
Yield yourself to God so you can become who you were meant to be – supernaturally.
My NEXT STEP with God this week:
Spirit of God: Think about ways I’ve already seen God at work in me, transforming my sinful nature into a spiritual nature, or overcoming unhealthy patterns in my family experience. Praise Him for those things!
Nature: Think about aspects of my nature that still need to change. Commit those things to God, asking the Holy Spirit’s help to change me from the inside out.
Nurture: Make a list of both healthy and unhealthy family patterns I have experienced in my family. Praise God for the good ones! Then ask, “Which patterns am I convinced God wants to help me overcome?”
