Verse 1-2: Forgiveness is happiness

How might we transgress?

- Transgression (pesa): breach of trust/rebellion
- Sin (chattah): missing the mark, breaking a religious law
- Iniquity (awon): immoral or unfair behaviour
- Deceit (rem-ee-yah): treachery - disloyalty to someone who trusts you

Verses 3-4: Silence hurts us but God does not stop caring for us.

Verse 5: Honest confession leads to forgiveness because Jesus is willing and able

Verse 6: What should we do in response? Pray!

What is prayer?

Verse 7: Safe in Jesus and reflecting His Forgiveness

Verses 8-9: Not obligated, instead gratefully willing

Verses 10-11: Rejoice! Sing it!
