As disciples of Jesus, we should remember:
I. The world hates Jesus

When you are persecuted as a disciple of Jesus, remember:
1. The world hated Jesus first, verse 18.
2. Being hated by the world proves we are not of the world, verse 19.
3. In persecution, we share Jesus’s experience, verse 20.
4. When hated, we not only suffer with Jesus, but we suffer for Jesus, verse 21.
