I. Paul's Unhindered Messages In His Letters - Ephesians
Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. - Ephesians 5:15-17
Be joyful always; pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. -1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Adversity is an opportunity.
You are not hindered by adversity.
Philippians
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.- Philippians 1:21
But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.- Philippians 3:7-9
These are the words of a man at peace.
Content in his identity, Paul is a free man.
Colossians
For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. •Colossians 1:13-14
Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation. -Colossians 1:21-22
Jesus is for everyone, and Jesus is for everywhere.
Philemon
Receive Onesimus as a brother to be loved, not as a runaway slave to be punished.
2 years of Paul’s life in Rome: Unhindered.
II. Kingdom Of God
If the Son has set you free then you are free indeed!- John 8:36
In the Kingdom of God, we are no longer hindered by darkness, we are no longer slaves to sin.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. -Galatians 5:1
We are saved BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH.
Formerly, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those who by nature are not gods. But now that you know God—or rather are known by God—how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable forces? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again?- Galatians 4:8-9
Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. - Hebrews 12:3
III. The Lavish Love Of God
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ. -Ephesians 1:3-10
