CORPORATE PRAYER

• Thank the Lord Jesus for all He’s done for you by His life, death and resurrection.

• Ask God to give you an opportunity to witness for the Lord Jesus this week.

• Ask the Holy Spirit to move deeply in your own heart today.

• Ask the Spirit to reveal something in you that may hinder your hearing, and then confess it.

• When things go wrong, turn to Jesus and trust Him.

• We have a mighty Christ who gives us ABUNDANCE to the brim!

• Jesus’ first miracle is the proof that He is the source of true and lasting joy!

• Jesus transforms what is empty, humiliating, and cheap, with His everlasting joy!

• Jesus was asking them and--us--to replace the cheap wine of this life for the best wine ever!

1. What is your favorite take-away from the first miracle of Jesus in John 2:1-11?

2. Take a few minutes and look up some passages in the Old Testament about wine.

3. In your own words, what was John’s purpose in selecting the miracle at Cana for his audience?
