E Komo Mai

E komo mai to Hawaii Church of God camp meeting. I pray this will be a week of challenge, of inspiration, of love and fellowship, but most importantly, I pray it will be a week where we can say we have met with God. We have prayed for this time and have asked God to let us have a time of great significance with him while we come together.

We need the hand and the favor of God in these days. It would be very easy to be overwhelmed if we were on our own. The islands are expensive to live on. There are temples erected to false deities where counterfeit religions try to operate among us. Homeless people have been shipped to our island as cast offs from the mainland. I would be very overwhelmed if the remedy for all of this were dependent upon me. My hope is built on Jesus. Greater is he that is in me, than he that is in the world.

We have come to celebrate the Ali'i of all Ali'i. All kings and kingdoms must bow to him. He said that if his people (that's us, who were called by his name (Christians), would humble themselves and pray and seek his face (that's why we are here), then HE would hear from heaven and heal our land. It's not up to us to perform or to bring about change. It is up to us to give God his glory. And we are to take what he has done for us and give it to those who need our hope because we know there is more where it came from.

I believe this is a time of significance for the Church of God in Hawaii. I believe God is going to use you and me to change the world around us. I believe the best is yet to come.

Candie and I, along with Brian and Zara love you and are believing God for great things in your life. Someone is depending on God to use you for their turn around.

Rob Taylor
Administrative Bishop
Hawaii Church of God

Worship in Giving

Ushers are available to serve you as you worship the Lord through giving. At the same time, credit card and bank account (ACH) gifts for the offerings are available for your convenience. Click on the link below and choose the fund to which you'd like to give. When we give generously and sacrificially, it's not because God needs anything, but because we want to show our love for him. Giving is an expression of obedience, yes, but also of gratitude, trust, and increasing joy. God seeks out and recognizes those who worship him.
