WELCOME
We are a family striving to be relevant, connected people, radically changed by the love of Jesus, impacting our neighbors, near and far with transforming truth and dynamic compassion.
. . . that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you theSpirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him . . .
Ephesians 1:17
Wisdom: Insight into something that was not previously known. Revelation: Something was hidden and now it has become visible.
Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away. But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory.
I Corinthians 2:6-7
None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
I Corinthians 2:8
But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”— these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit.
I Corinthians 2:9-10
these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
1 Corinthians 2:10
. . . that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him . . .
Ephesians 1:17
So that you may know Him better.
So that you might grow in your knowledge of God.
2. God, show me how you see me. Having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,
Ephesians 1:18
When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he divided mankind, he fixed the borders of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God. But the LORD's portion is his people, Jacob is his allotted heritage.
Deuteronomy 32:8-9
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of
water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in
splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.
Ephesians 5:25-27
and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might . . .
Ephesians 1:19
that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.
Ephesians 1:20-21
And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.
Ephesians 2:22-23
God show me more of you.
God show me how you see me.
God show me your Power.
Benediction
Light of the world, forgive us when we privilege our own sight and thus become blind. Would you open our eyes to you – your deeper truth and your life and power within us –so that we might see ourselves as the fullness of you who fills all in all. When the vastness of God meets the restrictions of our own humanity words and life can’t hold it. How much greater is the God we have than the one we think we have. Amen
