This is our simple, all-around form of communication. It's a great "Communication Card" to let us know of address changes or sign-up for activities/serving opportunities, it's an alternative method of asking for prayer as only staff will get it and can respond, or you can simply let us know you're here.

What Is truth?
Definition: “the true or actual state of a matter; conformity with fact or reality; a verified or indisputable fact, proposition, principle, or the like.”
1. Absolute Truth. Absolute truth is true regardless of how a person thinks or feels about it.
2. Relative Truth: The belief truth changes based on the individual’s understanding of it.

What Are the Characteristics of Truth?
1. Truth is constant (It does not change).
2. Truth is objective (It plays no favorites).
3. Truth will prevail (It will be standing in the end).
Defining Moment: A time when we are confronted with a truth that if we embrace it has the potential to transform our life forever.
The Reality: There are some truths we don’t want to know.
The Problem: With every distortion of the truth about God there is a corresponding negative consequence.

Hold: To abide, to remain, to dwell in
The Challenge is to remain in the light until your eyes adjust and your life is changed forever.
This Week: Will you pause and say to your Heavenly Father and say I am going to abide in your truth until you set me free.

Talk About It:
1. How have we attempted to shape God in our own image?
2. What consequences have you suffered by avoiding God’s truth? What truths have set you free?
3. If a defining moment is embracing an uncomfortable truth, have you had that kind of defining moment?
4. Which truths that Jesus taught are the hardest for you to accept and why?
5. Which truths do you not want to face in order to avoid discomfort?
