The Point: How we hear (receive) the Word of God is critical and it indicates our true spiritual condition.
1: Many women heard and received Jesus’ message and supported His ministry (8:1-4)
2: Jesus tells a story about different types of soil (8:5-8)
3: Hearing the Word saves some and hardens others (8:9-10)
4: Jesus explains the story He told is about how we hear and receive the Word of God (8:11-15)
5: Be careful how you hear the Word of God (8:16-18)
6: Those who hear and do the Word of God are truly in the family of God (Luke 8:19-21)
