THREE WOMEN WHO OVERCAME GREAT ADVERSITY:

1. Mary Magdalene

Jesus turned Mary Magdalene’s stigma into stature. (She did not let her past define her future or keep her from following Jesus wholeheartedly)

2. Elisabeth Elliot

“The will of God is never exactly what you expect it to be. It may seem to be much worse, but in the end it’s going to be a lot better and a lot bigger.”

“Sometimes life is so hard you can only do the next thing. Whatever that is just do the next thing. God will meet you there.”

Elisabeth Elliot overcame heartbreak. Her life shows us that we can forgive our enemies and allow God to bring beauty from ashes.

3. Harriet Tubman
