The hope of Jesus is in the church (vv.11-13)

Jesus and the Bible teach that relating to Jesus and being in a family of Christian brothers and sisters is one in the same
What do I do when I am hurt by someone at church?
• Lament - Turn, Complain, Ask, and Trust
• Seek wise counsel
• If wise, pursue reconciliation
What Paul is talking about here is God healing and restoring you and that happens… at church!
The hope of Jesus is seen as the gospel interacts with a broken world (vv. 14-17)

We are only declared righteous when we believe in Jesus and what Jesus did for us at the cross
Paul is saying… A relationship with Jesus transforms us so let’s strengthen that. That relationship places us in a family called the church so let’s give ourselves fully to that. When we do this the gospel is on display to a desperate and dying world. Let’s give ourselves to pointing many in this world to Jesus. This is gospel hope.
