Refuse to lower the bar.

You may be tempted to lower your standards to make others happy. It’s coming down to their level. Coming down to their level is a sure sign that you are living as a people pleaser instead of seeking to please God first. How do you know if you are living a God-pleasing life? Check what is happening in your heart.

When we lower the bar, we enable ourselves to live a life that isn’t better for us or best for others.

Refuse to Let My Guard Down

Letting my guard down never leads to the freedom it promises.

Because every yes has a consequence, I will guard my yes.
