Good boundaries begin with an understanding of who you are as a follower of Jesus.

Stand confidently with Jesus, the one who secures our identity, so that we aren’t constantly trying to figure it out for ourselves.

Ask: Is this supposed to reform me or inform me?

Reform: Is this a growth opportunity for me?
Inform: Does this inform me of something that is happening in them?

Boundaries teach us how to live our new identity.

When God is the source of our identity, we are much less prone to others feeding our insecurities.
