B. The Teaching
1. We must be willing to show mercy to someone even though they may have brought it on themselves.
2. Our help is as wide as God's love.
3. Compassion, to be genuine, must issue in deeds.
C. The Application
1. Which character do you identify with the most?
2. Are you more worried about who your neighbor should be rather than begin a good neighbor yourself?
3. Remember: When evangelizing, no one can argue with your testimony of transformation and love.
Bottom Line: Stop worrying about who your neighbor is and worry more about what kind of neighbor you are.
