Reconstructing Followship

If you’ve attended church, or even talked with a Christian, you are likely familiar with the phrase “follow Jesus.” Most everyone has an idea of what that means, but is it really what Jesus meant when he said, “Follow me?” During our series, Reconstructing Followship, we will look at three specific ways that Jesus has called us to follow Him: The call to follow Him with our lives, to follow His example in baptism, and to follow His instruction of remembering Him through the Lord’s Supper(Communion). Week 1: The Call to Follow – we will deconstruct and clarify what it really means to follow Jesus daily. Week 2: Remember Me – we will talk about the significance of the Lord’s Supper and share it together. Week 3: Church-wide Worship & Baptism Celebration – we will have a mini-message on what baptism is really about, and then celebrate with those who have decided to take the next step of baptism in their faith journey.
