Preparation for Worship Rev. DaVontaé Edwards

Prelude Jon Brannon

Call to Worship Rachael Gibson

The Lord is our shepherd, we lack nothing. He makes us lie down in green pastures, He leads us beside quiet waters. He refreshes our soul.
He guides us along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though we walk through the darkest valley, we will fear no evil, for He is with us; His rod and staff comforts us.
You prepare a table before us in the presence of our enemies. You anoint our heads with oil, our cup overflows.
Surely Your goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our lives, and we will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever. Amen
~ adapted from Psalm 23

*Hymn of Praise No. 97
“Sing Praise to God Who Reigns Above”

Invocation & Lord’s Prayer Todd Dudley

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily
bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

Choral Offertory Anthem
“O Love How Deep, How Broad, How High”

O love, how deep, how broad, how high,
beyond all thought and fantasy,
that God, the Son of God, should take
our mortal form for mortals' sake!

For us baptized, for us he bore
his holy fast and hungered sore;
for us temptation sharp he knew,
for us the tempter overthrew.

All glory to our Lord and God
for love so deep, so high, so broad,
the Trinity whom we adore
forever and forevermore.

Offertory Prayer Suzana Gibson

*Doxology

Praise God from whom all blessings flow,
Praise Him all creatures here below,
Praise Him above ye heavenly host,
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.

Who We Are

"The church on the corner with the big columns" is who some say we are. While blessed with a building, the life of our church expands beyond these six columns.
We are a family of faith striving to love God and love others, acknowledging the greatest commandments as defined by our Lord. These are the foundation for our existence; and everything we do, whether inside or outside these columns, must reflect love of our God and love for others.
The four inner columns represent the four primary areas of the life of our church: Inreach, Outreach, Spiritual Growth, and Missions. To learn more, visit our site.
