Merriam-Webster defines breakthrough as:

Breakthrough can be a change of perspective about how we think or what we say. (remember it’s a sudden advance especially in knowledge or technique)
Breakthrough can be a change in a relationship that went from not talking to each other to being able to speak amicably to one another. (Remember it’s an act or instance of moving through or beyond an obstacle)
Breakthrough can be the realization that we have no real control over our lives or the lives of those around us.
Breakthrough can be the realization of what you’re doing or not is affecting someone else.
Breakthrough can be a supernatural instant healing, or it can be healing through a surgery and by a doctor who has been given wisdom by God himself!
Breakthrough can be a relationship with your children that has been restored.
Breakthrough can be a saved marriage.
Breakthrough can be finding a church home after a long struggle of wrestling with where God wants you.

Psalm 65: 11-13: You crown the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance. 12 The grasslands of the wilderness become a lush pasture, and the hillsides blossom with joy. 13 The meadows are clothed with flocks of sheep, and the valleys are carpeted with grain. They all shout and sing for joy!
Ruth 1:16-18: 16 But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or to turn back from following you; for where you go, I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge. Your people will be my people, and your God, my God. 17 Where you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord do the same to me [as He has done to you], and more also, if anything but death separates me from you.” 18 When Naomi saw that Ruth was determined to go with her, she said nothing more.
Genesis 37:2-8 - Joseph, being seventeen years old, was pasturing the flock with his brothers. He was a boy with the sons of Bilhah and Zilpah, his father's wives. And Joseph brought a bad report of them to their father. Now Israel loved Joseph more than any other of his sons, because he was the son of his old age. And he made him a robe of many colors.[a] But when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and could not speak peacefully to him. Now Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers they hated him even more. He said to them, “Hear this dream that I have dreamed: Behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and behold, my sheaf arose and stood upright. And behold, your sheaves gathered around it and bowed down to my sheaf.” 8 His brothers said to him, “Are you indeed to reign over us? Or are you indeed to rule over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words.
What you perceive as detours in life, God sees as preparations for your destiny!
1. Focus
Focusing on God, and His voice.

2 Corinthians 10:5-We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,
