Different Types of Government in the World
1. MONARCHY—Government by one person
2. HIERARCHY—Government by an elite few
3. DEMOCRACY—The rule of the people
4. REPUBLIC—Ruled by Law
5. ANARCHY—Ruled by NO one
6. Theocracy—The rule of God under God through His chosen appointed and anointed leaders

The Government of the Church
1. The Government of the CHURCH UNIVERSAL can only be under the Head and that is the Lord Jesus Christ.
2. The Government of the CHURCH LOCAL is also by Christ Jesus. He does this through local ministries.

What the Congregation May Do
a. PRAY for those who rule over them
b. SUBMIT themselves to their leadership and obey as the leadership obeys the Word of the Lord, Heb 13:7, 17, 24
c. CONFIRM the matters of Church discipline and excommunication on unrepentant members, Matt 18:15-20 and 1 Cor 5
