Mislabeled: The Labels We Make & Take

Mislabeled: The Labels We Make & Take

We all wears labels. Some we place on ourselves; some we allow others to place on us. We see labels, whether good or bad, as definers of our successes and disappointments, our fame and our pain. But the labels that we make and take-on, do not define us. Only our Creator determines our true identity, and he says, in Jesus, we are chosen, heirs, holy, and able. Don’t allow yourself to be Mislabeled.

We live in a label driven world.
Labels are used to define who we are and what we are.
We are chosen, and we’ve been given the choice to choose to follow Him.
God says that you are valuable and worthy.
Jesus says all of us are either redeemed or we’re redeemable.
What you believe is your deepest, most pressing need is not your primary need.
Your felt need is merely a symptom of your greatest need.
Forgiveness of sin is our greatest and primary need.
God will often use our felt need to show us our greatest need.
Jesus healed people physically to prove His power and authority to heal people spiritually.
The urgent, pressing needs will be a reminder that your sins are forgiven.
