Titus 2:1-10

1. Accord with the doctrine of God - Titus 2:1-10

a. Older men (2:2)
•Sober minded
•Dignified
•Self-controlled
•Sound in faith, in love, and in steadfastness
b. Older women (2:3-4)
•Reverent in behavior
•Not slanderers
•Not slaves to much wine
•Teach what is good
•Train the young women
c. Younger women (2:4-5)
•Love their husbands and children
•Self-controlled
•Pure
•Working at home
•Kind
•Submissive to their own husbands
d. Younger men (2:6-8)
•Self-controlled
Titus himself - model good works, integrity, dignity, and sound speech
e. Workers (2:9-10)
•Submissive to their bosses
•Well-pleasing
•Not argumentative
•Not pilfering
f. Multi-generational relationships and mentoring

2. Adorn the doctrine of God
a .“…that the word of God may not be reviled.” (2:5)
b. “…sound speech that cannot be condemned…” (2:8a)
c. “…so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us.” (2:8b)
d. “…so that in everything they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior.” (2:10)

Repent and confess any sin He reveals. Receive His forgiveness.
