INTRO: Life is a Journey of Seasons!

Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take but by the moments that take your breath away. – Maya Angelou
You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending. – C.S. Lewis
“Life Is a Journey, Not a Destination” - Ralph Waldo Emerson

1. No matter what Season you are in, no Season lasts Forever. To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven….. He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end. Eccl 3:1,11

2. Never let the Season you are in Define who you are. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. Eph 1:7

3. We need to build Consistency in every Season knowing that God is working. “Preach the word of God, be instant in season and out of season.”
2 Timothy 2:4

ANALYSIS: Are we Willing to Live Life’s Journey for God?

1. Paul was willing to Serve for Christ.
Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue of the Jews. 2 Then Paul, as his custom was, went in to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures, Vs 1-2
“For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. 15 And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. 16 Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. 17 And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. 18 But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money. 19 After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them. 20 “So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ 21 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ Matthew 25:14-21

2. Paul was willing to Suffer for Christ.
explaining and demonstrating that Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus whom I preach to you is the Christ.” Vs 3

WORD POWER: suffer (pascho)- to experience ill treatment, violence, outrage or acts of evil.
I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live but Christ who live in me, and the life that I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20.

3. Paul was willing to Shepherd for Christ.
And some of them were persuaded; and a great multitude of the devout Greeks, and not a few of the leading women, joined Paul and Silas. Vs 4
And you should imitate me, just as I imitate Christ. 1 Cor 11:1

APPLICATION: Your Life Journey has a Destination, so Live it for Christ!
Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:12-14
