No matter how far we have drifted or no matter where we have wandered, there is always a welcome mat set out for us when we come home to God. The parable of the prodigal son shows us the way home.

He hit rock bottom because sin only satisfies for so long. You can only run so far and so fast before the consequences of your actions catch you. But even at this moment, there is always a way home.

The devil has two lies: You are so bad you can't be saved. You are so good you don't need to be saved. Reject the lies of the enemy. Walk through your shame and go home.

BIG IDEA #2: When you return with repentance, there is always as a welcome mat out for you.
